PLAYOFF SCHEDULE
In pool play teams, will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 for a loss. Tie breakers will be determined by head-to-head result, then goal differential, then goals against, then coin toss. Wildcards will be determined by the next best record in the entire age group.
This year, standings and scores will be posted online in real-time! You will be able to login and check your team’s position and see how you stand in your pool play. The online system will automatically calculate wins/losses/ties, points, goal differential and goals for/against.
2011 Playoffs : Sunday 7/18 MD Soccerplex
32 teams will advance from 12 pools. The top 2 teams in each pool and 8 wildcards.
The round of 32 will play 40-minute games at 12:45
The round of 16 will play 30 minutes games at 2:05
The round of 8 will play 30 minutes games at 3:15
The final four will play 30-minute games at 4:10
The final will be 30 minutes at 5:00
2012 Playoffs: Sunday 7/18 MD Soccerplex
24 teams will advance from 11 pools. The top 2 teams in each pool and 2 wildcards.
The round of 24 will play 40-minute games at 12:00
The round of 12 will play 30 minutes games at 1:30
The round of 6 will play 30 minutes games at 2:40
The final four will consist of the 3 winners from the round of six, plus the team with best playoff record based on goal differential, then goals against.
The final four will play 30-minute games at 4:10
The final will be 30 minutes at 5:00
